Last Month on TMAT (December 2019)

As we closed out 2019, we finished a series on shooting and started a new series on heroes, causing us to revisit some of our oldest posts on heroes and tactics.

  • Tiberius and Centaur shared their thoughts on how to make certain factions more shooting-oriented in order to skirmish better with enemy armies.
  • Tiberius kicked off a new series on heroes, starting with a comparison between the different versions of the members of Thorin's Company, showing the differences between the lighter, cheaper Thorin's Company members and their more defensible, more expensive Champions of Erebor versions. Gandalf and Bilbo are also discussed, comparing their Thorin's Company versions to those found in the Survivors of Lake-town.
  • Tiberius revisited an older post on Uruk-Hai heroes and the uses for each of them. The discussion coincided with the release of War in Rohan, so a discussion of the new "uber-Captain" from the Assault on Helm's Deep Legendary Legion is included too.
  • Tiberius started a log for the Winter 2019-Spring 2020 Battle Companies season we're doing here at TMAT, discussing the first two games that his Last Alliance Battle Company did.
  • Tiberius discussed the "Top 5 Ways to Waste Might Points," going over mistakes he's made in the past and his opinions on choices that are "too risky."
  • Tiberius then discussed the "Top 5 Anti-Mages" in the game - heroes you can bring to counter enemy magic users (though with 5 honorable mentions, it's really more than a Top 5 list).
If you haven't done so already, Like us on Facebook for the latest updates on new content, and to let us know what we can be doing to improve!
